About the P&O Fleet

About the P&O Fleet

10 January 2012

If you have settled on taking P&O Cruises but need to decide on which ship to take, that is easy to do. Although the company does offer guests a choice of seven beautiful ships, each one is outfitted in a distinctive way with a variety of features and facilities that ensure repeat guests enjoy a unique experience each time they sail with P&O.

The Aracdia

The main feature of this ship is that it is set-aside exclusively for adults only. Once aboard, guest will enjoy the stylish surroundings and relaxed pace with a hint of extravagance. Some of the ship’s distinctive features include glass-fronted lifts and more than 3,000 works of art that help to create a rather sophisticated air.

The top deck offers The Orchid Bar and Restaurant, a Select Dining venue of Asian fusion dishes and Arcadian Rhodes, which is a warm upmarket restaurant that serves the best in British fare, with a slight modern twist.

This ship also features numerous activities, a 3-tier Palladium theatre, a 30-seat cinema, ocean view fitness room, numerous lounges, bars, restaurants, two pools and Italian cafes as well as wonderful spas, hydrotherapy pool and thermal suite complete with aromatic showers.

The Oriana

The Oriana is considered an elegant and attractive ship that has been specifically designed to host its British guests. On-board passengers will enjoy a broad teak promenade, lido decks, wood panelled library, card room and numerous pubs adorned with leather armchairs and maritime artifacts. The ship also features a stunning Tiffany glass ceiling, panoramic Crow’s Nest Bar, numerous restaurants, a cinema, show lounge, casino and a variety of other entertainment. Guests can also enjoy the on-board sports court and golf nets in addition to the five whirlpool spas, three pools and ocean view fitness centre.

The Aurora

This shop is known for its tiered stern and is suited for world cruising. The ship features a Lalique-inspired waterfall in the centre of the impressive atrium. On-board guests are welcome to explore the many pubs, restaurants, sports bars, casino, cinema, lounge and theatre. The deck is designed with a teak promenade deck jogging area around the ship’s circumference. This ship is suitable for singles as well as families and features a children’s club and dedicated family pool.

The Azura

This is the largest ship in the P&O fleet. It offers guests a modern line of luxury with a large line up of entertainment that includes numerous bars, pubs and restaurants. Passengers can also take enjoyment in the many spa facilities and relaxing environments that are offered over the three enormous decks. Don’t miss out on the many sports venues, themed entertainment options and live entertainment that is just waiting for you.

The Adonia

This ship is the smallest and most intimate of the P&O fleet. With a maximum passenger load of only 710, this ship is designed to offer guests a more personalised experience. Unlike the larger ships in the fleet, the Adonia is small enough to be able to reach unique ports of call that other large ships cannot make.
