Alaskan Cruises for complete rejuvenation of the mind & body

An Alaskan cruise takes you to the largest state in the USA, a sparsely populated land of immense natural beauty, diverse wildlife and breathtaking adventure. At one-fifth the size of the lower 48 states, Alaska has 3 million lakes, over 3,000 rivers, 17 of the USA's 20 highest peaks, 100,000 glaciers and 15 national parks, preserves and monuments. Soaring snow-covered peaks, glaciers and fjords, bears, moose, salmon-filled rivers and the shrill call of eagles echo the grandeur of this state, which offers an experience like nowhere else on earth.

No matter if you're on the rocky shoreline, in the rolling coutryside, or on a towering mountain, an alaskan cruise will take you to a unique place rich in history & natural beauty, and exploring this magnificent destination from the luxury of a cruise ship, coupled with a land based tour is the ideal package.

Alaska cruises will delight you with breathtaking scenery; it is everywhere, and will surprise you at every turn. The horizon is glorious, and the mountains and ocean create magnificent backdrops.

Seventy-five miles long and covering over 1,350 square miles in area, the Hubbard Glacier is the largest tidewater glacier in North America. It is also one of the most impressive, a 300-foot wall of ice rising sheer and jagged from the ocean. It has been thickening and advancing toward the Gulf of Alaska since it was first mapped by the International Boundary Commission in 1895. This is in stark contrast with most glaciers, which have thinned and retreated during the last century.

The Inside Passage gives the most complete overview of the communities and surrounding wilderness preserves and parks in Southeast Alaska. Almost every popular small town in Southeast Alaska will be a part of an an Inside Passage itinerary, introducing you to Alaska’s state capitol, a Norwegian fishing village, a native town, towns built on the timber industry, the gold of rush of 1898, and the historic Russian capitol of Sitka.

The level of variety and charm within the Inside Passage will leave you never knowing what to expect in the next port of call, each with its own charm, character and history. Some destinations can only be visited by a small ship, giving you a real look at these wilderness towns. Many photographic opportunities will exist while visiting Alaskan ports, there are very special opportunities to take advantage of including kayaking, hiking, biking, visits to museums and native cultural centers, flight seeing, river rafting, train rides, dog mushing and ice climbing and street walks.
