With cruise ships now larger than ever after the introduction of the Oasis class, Royal Caribbean International president Adam Goldstein has been asked whether there is room for yet more expansion.
His answer? Not so much definitely as 'maybe'.
In a question and answer session with the public, Mr Goldstein was quizzed on the future of his
cruise holidays, after the introduction of the huge Oasis class.
"I am often asked about larger ships in the future," he said, according Travel Agent Central.
"While we don't have anything planned, the history of shipbuilding over time is that ships get larger."
He added that the company's current focus is on creating "a marvellous guest experience" for guests aboard the Oasis of the Seas and said more information is forthcoming on the ship's environmental credentials.
Oasis of the Seas is to make her maiden voyage later this year. The ship was floated out in November of last year.
Royal Caribbean Cruises are available from only £299 per person
