Princess Cruises has announced details of a series of tropical voyages to popular sunshine destinations for the autumn 2010 to spring 2011 season.
The new itineraries include week-long, ten-day and 14-day cruises to the islands of the Caribbean, with many featuring trips to the private beach of Princess Cays.
Explorations to the Mexican Riviera are available from Los Angeles or San Francisco to a variety of popular resorts, while those wanting to see the Panama Canal can opt choose from a round-trip voyage or a full transit option.
The California-based company''s executive vice president Jan Swartz said that the close-to-home adventures offer "so many ways to escape the winter cold or the everyday grind and enjoy the warmth and relaxation of a tropical getaway".
A total of six Princess ships will travel to over 25 Caribbean ports covering 14
cruise holidays itineraries and three vessels will serve the Mexican Riviera.
Princess Cruises has also launched a new online photo journal of work taking place on its Dawn Princess vessel, which is undergoing a makeover at the Forgacs Cairncross Dockyard in Brisbane, Australia.
