Princess Cruises has published a new online photo journal, enabling those planning
cruise holidays to go behind-the-scenes as the Dawn Princess undergoes a makeover.
Cruise enthusiasts can watch daily as the ship is transformed, with the addition of a new interior furnishings and an adults-only Sanctuary area.
The journal will be updates with pictures and information regularly and those keen to find out more can visit the Princess Twitter feed.
Jan Swartz, executive vice-president of
Princess Cruises, said the company decided to make the photo journal after receiving excellent feedback about similar projects.
"I think when our passengers see first-hand what?s accomplished in a relatively short period of time, they''ll be impressed by the planning and teamwork that goes into ensuring that our ships and their amenities deliver the fantastic experience for which Princess is known," she added.
The Dawn Princess is due to emerge from its drydock makeover on June 20th.
In related news, the cruise line''s Golden Princess underwent renovation work last month, with the addition of a new sports court, internet cafe and library.
