It might seem too far off to be thinking about holidays in 2012 but not for
Princess Cruises. They have just released details of their worldwide voyages for 2011-2012.
The cruise line’s new ‘Exotic’ programme will visit some of the most striking destinations on the planet including, Africa, India, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Hawaii, Tahiti, and South America. Both smaller and more intimate ships as well as the larger cruise liners will be operating the voyages.
Among the highlights of the exotic destinations is a new 28-day Hawaii, Tahiti & Samoa itinerary departing from Los Angeles, aboard Sapphire Princess.
Guests also have the opportunity to sail around the famous Cape Horn, as sailings in the area will be increased by 50%.
A similar voyage will also take place using
Golden Princess and
Ocean Princess. The first of these sails to the Hawaiian Islands on a 14-day roundtrip Los Angeles itinerary; the Ocean Princess sails on a series of 10-day Tahiti & Polynesia and 11-day Hawaii & Tahiti voyages.
Other expeditions being offered include a cruise around Asia, Africa and India. This includes a16-day Southeast Asia itinerary sailing between Beijing and Singapore aboard Diamond Princess. Guests can choose sailings between Asia and Alaska or Australia, for adventures on two-continent.
Diamond Princess will also be used for voyages around Australasia along with Ocean Princess, Dawn Princess and Sea Princess.
If South America is more to your taste, in 2012 Pacific Princess takes passengers exploring down the Amazon River.
