This fantastic holiday will take in all that New Zealand has to offer including the chance to discover the country’s Maori culture.
President and CEO for the cruise line, Richard Bailey said in a press release “We are pleased to offer two departures of this itinerary, which represent the m/s Paul Gauguin’s first-ever sailing to New Zealand – long a favourite destination for travellers who love spectacular scenery, a touch of the exotic, and the warm hospitality of an English-speaking people.”
Mr. Bailey will accompany guests on board the ship while they travel to his home nation, French Polynesia before it continues on to New Zealand. Departure dates are the 6th and 21st November embarking from Papeete.
The ship then travels to Tahiti before heading to Morea. Guests will also have the opportunity to stop off at Paul Gauguin’s private island - Motu Mahana - where they will be entertained to a barbeque lunch.
The itinerary continues on to the Cook Islands and Tonga before arriving in the ‘Bay of Islands’ in New Zealand.
As this is the first trip of its kind the cruise line is putting on some special events including a President’s Cocktail reception and lectures by renowned archaeologist Mark Eddowes.
