Circumnavigate Australia with Celebrity Cruises

Circumnavigate Australia with Celebrity Cruises

23 February 2011

Their luxury cruise ship Celebrity Century will sail from Auckland in January 2012. Apart from completely circumnavigating Australia, passengers will also get the opportunity to see the east coast of New Zealand. The Celebrity Century will visit Tauranga, Christchurch and Dunedin before continuing its visit to Dusky, Doubtful and Milford Sounds.

After this the ship will bring a 2-day visit to Sydney, where passengers will be able to view the famed Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. Continuing its clockwise cruise around Australia, it will then bring a visit to Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane. A number of smaller ports, such as Bunbury, Broome, Albany and Geraldton are also included in the itinerary.

An added bonus is that the cruise liner will make a detour to the exotic island paradise of Bali, after which it will continue to Darwin, Cairns and Brisbane. The cruise ends in Sydney.

Passengers can also book the 36-day cruise in two sections. The first one starts in Auckland and continues along Australia’s south coast to Fremantle. The second segment starts in Fremantle and goes via Australia’s north coast to Sydney.

The Celebrity Century is of course a luxury cruise liner with all modern conveniences. Everything is top-notch, from the innovate ‘ice-bar’ to the specialty restaurants to the world class art collection.
