Costa Offering More Cruises Than Ever Before
23 February 2011
The company’s total passenger capacity has been increased by 12% over that of the previous year. Top 2012 destinations include Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, the Far East, China, the UAE, Red Sea, Indian Ocean, South America, Caribbean as well as a brand new Around the World Cruise.
We have of course come to know Costa Cruises for its convenience: passengers can embark at about 60 points throughout the world. They are also known for the value-for-money they offer. Particularly their ProntoPrice formula, that offers substantial discounts to those who book early.
The total number of shore excursions available in 2012 will be a staggering 2200. This includes 300 eco-tourism destinations where local parks and communities will be visited.
The company’s Round the World Cruise promises to be something special. The ship that will be used for this cruise is the Costa Deliziosa. It will sail from Savona on the 6th of January 2012 on a 100-day westward journey around the world.
From Savona the cruise will proceed to Los Angeles, but not before it has visited the Caribbean, the Panama Canal and Mexico en route. From Los Angeles the Deliziosa will proceed to Singapore. On the way it will dock at Hawaii, Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand and Australia. From Singapore it will slowly return to Savona – visiting Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, the UAE, Oman, the Red Sea and Egypt on the way.
