To be alone on Valentine’s day is a sad experience. Thanks to a resourceful UK entrepreneur, however, it is now easier than ever to meet fellow cruisers and who knows, next Valentine’s day you might just be celebrating your honeymoon on a cruise ship in an exotic and romantic destination such as cruising around the Caribbean.

Cruise-lovers.co.uk is a website aimed at bringing those who love cruising together for friendship, fun, romance and even a long term relationship.

Basic membership is free of charge. The signup procedure is quick and easy. Once you have been registered, you can immediately proceed to upload your profile picture, just like you would do on other social media websites such as Facebook and Myspace. The difference here of course is that you are about to meet and greet fellow cruisers from all over the United Kingdom. (Currently the site is aimed specifically at cruise lovers from the UK).

Use the geographical search function to easily find members close to you. Then refine your search in terms of sex, age, postal code or cruise interests.

Just as on Facebook, you will get your own personal inbox where you can see who sent you winks and messages. A nice feature is that you can also immediately see who has been taking a look at your profile and contact them if you want.

Full membership is not free, but it does give you access to advanced features such as a video profile and a dating diary.
