Dominic Paul, UK and Ireland managing director, said “Celebrity Eclipse is the most popular ship in the Celebrity Cruises fleet for UK and Irish holidaymakers”. He went on to say that they have added exciting new destinations to make sure cruise passengers keep on returning year after year.

Not only have the Norwegian fjords and Iceland been added to the ship’s itinerary for 2012, but the garden islands of the Azores promises to draw many new cruise lovers.

Some of the 2012 destinations for the Celebrity Eclipse include:

• May 2012 sees the departure on an eight night cruise to the Norwegian fjords. Ports of call include Oslo, Geiranger and Bergen.

• May and September 2012 bring a grand 14-day cruise of Europe. Ports of call include Villefranche (for visits to Nice), Civitavecchia (for visits to Rome), Livorno (for visits to Florence) and (for the first time) Porto in Portugal.

• From May to August cruise lovers can experience the delights of Scandinavia and Russia on a 14-night cruise. Ports of call include Copenhagen, St Petersburg, Zeebrugge (visiting Bruges), Warnemunde (visiting Berlin) and Helsinki (Finland) and Stockholm (Sweden)

• During July and August passengers will be able to book on a brand new tour of Iceland and the fjords. The cruise includes an overnight stop at Reykjavik. Other ports of call include several Norwegian cities as well as the Faroe Islands.
