Holland America Promises Speedy Access to Staterooms in Future

On top of that passengers will also receive their luggage much earlier. This will allow them lots of time to unpack and get ready for a leisurely lunch, which will be served in the company’s well-known Lido restaurant. As always the food will be of world class standard with a full-service buffet being on offer.
Executive Vice President of Holland America Line, Richard Meadows, was enthusiastic about the new program. According to him, Holland America was always looking for ways to improve the on-board experience of its passengers.
He added “through this streamlined boarding process guests can now get into their staterooms earlier and begin enjoying their vacation sooner.”
He also said that the new Stateroom Direct Service program was the ideal way for a cruise passenger to start his or her cruise. He added that this would only be the first taste of the top notch service passengers were about to experience during the rest of their trip.
Good news for cruise passengers is that they do not have to wait until next year to experience the new Stateroom Direct Service program – it is already in place in all of the company’s 15 cruise ships.
