Independence of the Seas to Stay in UK for 2012 With No Price Increases
11 March 2011
The 2012 program will open for reservations on 16th March 2011. According to a company spokesperson it will focus on Mediterranean and European cruises.
Independence of the Seas was originally launched in 2008 and has since proved to be very popular with British cruise passengers.
The cheapest cruise, aimed at those who are testing the waters of cruising for the first time, will still be the popular Paris (Le Havre) trip.
The 4-night Cork cruise deal has also been a solid favourite with first-time cruisers. The fact that the 2012 price has been held at the same level as in 2011 will no doubt further add to the appeal of this option.
General Manager of Royal Caribbean for the UK and Ireland, Jo Rzymowska, explained that, although the short cruises have proven to be highly popular among first-time cruisers, experienced cruisers will no doubt prefer a longer cruise holiday.
He continued “The two-week-long Mediterranean Treasures and Italian Mediterranean itineraries form the bulk of the summer period, and represent cracking value – prices for cruises in 2012 are in line with past years and customers can benefit from our offer of free car parking at Southampton or low-priced regional transfers.”
