This is probably the reason why Fred Olsen Cruises decided to launch a range of Autumn Cruise Adventures to the four corners of Europe this coming autumn.

Cruise lovers will be able to choose from cruises discovering lands forged by ice and fire, exploring the Mediterranean coastline of Italy, visiting the historical wonders of Venice or enjoying the beauty of the Canary Islands.

The 7-night cruise to Norway, Denmark and Sweden leaves from Newcastle on the 27th September 2011. Prices start from only £790 per person sharing a double cabin.

For those with more time (and of course more money), there is a 22-night cruise on board the Balmoral, which leaves from Southampton on the 6th October this year. Called the “Venice and The Adriatic” cruise, prices start at £2,215 per person sharing a double cabin.

If you love the Mediterranean, you will no doubt be delighted with the 16-night cruise on the Braemar leaving Dover on the 12th October. This cruise is quite fittingly called “Mediterranean Italy” and prices begin at £1,703 per person sharing.

If you have already been to Italy and the Mediterranean numerous times and want to experience something different, the 14-night cruise on the Black Watch departing from Dover on the 1st November should interest you. Called “Portugal and the Canaries”, the cruise will offer passengers an opportunity to explore the highlights of Portugal and the Canary Islands. Prices start from £1,182 per person sharing.
