During the New York season it will embark on a series of eight-night cruises to the Bahamas and five-night cruises to the North. The Bahamas cruises will dock at Port Canaveral, Castaway Cay (a private resort) and Nassau. The northern trips will visit St John, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Halifax.
The ship will also embark on three two-night “Cruises to Nowhere” on the 15th June, the 13th July and the 10th August. Fares for these cruises start at £230.
This year’s Mediterranean season starts off with a cruise from Barcelona on 28th May. The Magic, with a passenger capacity of 2,400, will set sail on its trans-Atlantic journey on the 10th September.
The company’s latest addition, the Disney Dream, was launched in January this year. It will continue to offer three, four and five-night cruises embarking from Port Canaveral. The five-night cruise offers two stops at Castaway Cay. These are ideal cruises for Britons who want to visit the Orlando theme parks and combine this with a couple of days at sea.
A cruise on board the Disney Magic has always been a great experience, especially for those with children. It is sad to see the ship leave European waters. At least there is one more chance to experience the joys of cruising on this very special cruise ship.
