P&O Cruises now offers a series of “Getaway” specials with flights included on selected departures on board their ship the Adonia. These are all for Mediterranean fly-cruise holidays.

The Fly Med Getaway promotion is for cruises booked in June and July. It is valid for cruises of between ten and 14 nights that depart after the 29th October 2011 but before the 3rd January 2012. Prices include fuel supplements and air fares.

Carol Marlow, the Managing Director of P&O Cruises, said “Adonia offers our only Mediterranean fly cruises and these are a fantastic holiday choice for those seeking winter sunshine and the chance to visit up to 13 different places in 14 days.”

She added that Adonia was the company’s latest ship and that it received a great reception from passengers. To celebrate her arrival P&O wants as many people as possible to get the chance to experience what she has to offer.

Adonia was of course christened by Dame Shirley Bassey in May. She is an adults-only ship and carries only 710 passengers. She has no less than eight bars, including Crow’s Nest – P&O’s signature bar. There is also a gym and a spa, a library and a classic dining room. The two specialty restaurants, Sorrento Italian and Ocean Grill by Marco Pierre White, provide passengers with world class cuisine.

To qualify for Getaway fares, bookings must be paid for in full at the time of the reservation and cannot be combined with other special offers.
