If there is one thing about a cruise holiday that really makes it memorable, it is good food. Who will ever forget the many culinary delights you savoured on your first cruise holiday? Who would not dream of being able to cook like that?
MSC Cruises seems to be well aware of this fact. That is why they have commissioned renowned Celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson to present a series of unique cooking demonstrations on board their cruise ship the MSC Splendida next February.
Thompson will join the Splendida in Barcelona on the 5th February next year while the ship is on an eight-day round trip cruise from Genoa. He will showcase some of his most popular dishes as well as a couple of dishes for which MSC has become famous.
Worrall had this to say about his decision to join MSC: “I have always loved messing about in boats, so when MSC Cruises asked me to come on board and cook for some of its guests, it was too good an opportunity to miss.”
He added that he would be demonstrating some of his trademark dishes, plus a number of surprises that he will prepare especially for the guests on board Splendida.
Antony is one of five top European chefs who will join the MSC cruise line for a number of special theme cruises between now and the end of 2012. The other four are the Michelin star winner Paco Roncero from Spain, Filippo La Mantia from Italy, Kolja Kleeberg from Germany and Gilles Epié from France.
