Those who love a cruise holiday filled with style and ambience has just been offered the opportunity to add a touch of luxury to their next cruise – a chauffeur driven limousine will pick them up from their UK home and deliver them to the appropriate port or airport.
This announcement was made by Royal Caribbean recently.
Guests travelling on board Celebrity Eclipse or Independence of the Seas from Washington or Jewel of the Seas from Harwich can make use of this service. The service is also available to those who are flying from a London airport to their port of departure.
The chauffeur service will be provided by P&O partner company Tristar Chauffeur Services.
The General Manager and Vice President of Royal Caribbean Cruise Line for UK and Ireland, Jo Rzymowska, said “This is a great addition to the list of optional extras we offer our guests. Having the opportunity to transfer in luxury is the perfect way to make the most of your holiday time and a fantastic treat.”
In other Royal Caribbean news, it has become known that the company’s ships might soon start calling at El Salvador.
According to the country’s El Mundo newspaper, the tourism minister has said that negotiations with Royal Caribbean to determine a schedule of calls were well underway.
Jose Napoleon Duarte told the newspaper that they were very close to “achieving the first cruise route to El Salvador in history through the arrival of Royal Caribbean.”
The first visit of a Royal Caribbean cruise ship could take place as early as next year.
