In a clear indication of just how competitive the cruise industry has become, Cunard has announced a three-day sale of selected Queen Victoria cruises lasting from the 7th to the 9th September 2011.
Included in the offer are 2 for 1 savings on selected cruises, reduced deposit requirements and up to $300 on board credit per stateroom. The offer applies to specific 2011-12 Americas voyages.
During the last months of 2011, Queen Victoria will combine two of the company’s favourite destinations: a Transatlantic crossing and the Mediterranean with the 15-night Venice to Fort Lauderdale cruise. Ports of call include Gibraltar, Portugal (overnight in Madeira), Greece, Charleston and Bermuda.
Once she arrives in Fort Lauderdale, she will embark on her second Americas season.
During the sale the lowest price for this cruise will be $994 per person sharing – a discount of nearly $150.
Many people consider the Panama Canal the eighth wonder of the world. To cruise through this canal on board an elegant cruise ship such as Queen Victoria, while at the same time enjoying Cunard’s famous White Star service, must surely be the experience of a lifetime.
During the upcoming Americas season, Queen Victoria will pass through the Panama Canal on a number of different itineraries. Departures will be either from Los Angeles or Fort Lauderdale. The first cruise will leave on the 6th December and the last one in late February. During the sale prices start at only $1,195 per person sharing, which is $99 less than the official fare.
