Scotland is to host the biggest cruise show ever in the UK next month as The Cruise Show arrives in Glasgow and Birmingham. This will also be the first cruise show ever to be held in Scotland.
It will start off in Glasgow on the 22nd and 23rd October and then move to the NEC in Birmingham on the 29th and 30th October.
All the big guys of cruising will be there, including Celebrity, Carnival, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Fred Olsen, Royal Caribbean and P&O. Smaller companies such as Compagnie du Ponant, Louis Cruises, Quark Expeditions and Louis (Scotland) will also take part.
There will be numerous special deals and discounts on offer, as well as expert advice from cruise experts such as Jonathan Beaumont from the Travel Channel and Jane Archer from the Telegraph.
Attendants will also be able to enjoy a drink at the Deck Lounge and Bar and Viking River Cruises will give away a holiday for two.
The Glasgow Cruise Show kicks off at the SECC at 10h00 on the 22nd October. The next day (Sunday) it will open at the same time. The doors will close at 16h00 on Sunday (the final day).
In Birmingham the Cruise Show will be held at the NEC and the doors will open at 10h00 on Saturday the 29th October. As in Glasgow, the show will end on the Sunday at 16h00.
Tickets will be sold at the door for £10, but here is a little secret: if you call 0871 620 4024 you will be able to order your tickets at £3 each.
