On the 30th April 2013 Norwegian Cruise Line’s state-of-the-art new flagship, the 4,000 passenger cruise liner Norwegian Breakaway, will depart from Southampton on its first ever transatlantic cruise.
Booking for this epic eight-day journey to New York is now open. Once in New York, the Breakaway will cruise from there for the next two years, so you might not get another chance for a UK departure on board this magnificent cruise liner for quite some time.
Cruise-only ticket prices start at £569 per person and fly-cruise packages can be booked from only £932 per person.
Norwegian Breakaway is currently being built at the German Meyer Werft shipyard. It will be the first of the new generation of Norwegian Cruise Lines ships to be launched. In 2014 the next ship, Norwegian Getaway, will hit the seven seas.
Norwegian Cruise Line’s VP and International General Manager, Francis Riley, said “Guests on the transatlantic crossing will be among the first to experience Norwegian Breakaway, which will bring together the best innovations and designs of our current fleet all on one ship.”
Riley went on to say that they were very excited to offer UK guests the first opportunity to embark on a transatlantic journey on board the new ship.
From the 11th May 2013 Norwegian Breakaway will be based in New York and depart from there on a range of one-week cruises to Bermuda. Cruise-only prices start at £639 per person and fly-cruise options at £932 per person.
