Nearly 50% of Princess Cruises’ ships will be deployed in European waters during the summer of 2012.
The company will deploy a record seven ships in this region next year. They will embark on no less than 125 cruises between April and December and offer passengers a choice of 57 different itineraries.
Next year is, of course, the big year for Caribbean Princess. The cruise liner with a passenger capacity of 3,114 will make its debut in Europe and depart on a number of cruises to Iceland and Norway as well as some very interesting round-Britain journeys.
Grand Princess will once again be sailing from Southampton next year and she will offer an array of Northern European and Mediterranean cruises.
She will also offer cruise lovers the opportunity to explore the Baltic region with visits to Stockholm, Copenhagen, St Petersburg, Helsinki, Tallinn and Gdansk.
Caribbean Princess and her smaller sister Ocean Princess will embark on a number of cruises from UK ports. With Grand Princess they will offer a total of ten itineraries. The duration of these cruises will vary between eight and 16 days each.
The cruise line will have five ships sailing in the Mediterranean next year, offering cruises ranging between seven and 30 days. Both Crown Princess and Ruby Princess will offer Greek Isles and Grand Mediterranean fly-cruise options as well as Aegean and Egyptian sailings.
Emerald Princess will once again explore the Baltic region and she will embark on a number of 11-day cruises from Copenhagen.
