If you enjoy trying out the different dining options on board a cruise ship, you will no doubt welcome the fact that Splendour of the Seas will emerge from a major visit to the dry dock on the 25th November with more than double the number of dining options previously on offer to passengers.
The upgrades, including an array of new restaurants we first saw on board the Oasis-class ships, remain true to Royal Caribbean’s motto of providing passengers with the most innovative cruise ships in the industry, world class service and exciting destinations.
The senior VP of Hotel Operations at the company, Lisa Bauer, said that the refurbishment formed part of a multi-ship upgrade programme to offer the same innovative and popular concepts that made their debut on Oasis-class ships across the fleet.
She added “As a result, guests sailing aboard Splendour of the Seas will now have a variety of restaurants, both fine-dining and casual, to choose from providing them with an exceptional and customisable vacation experience.”
A few of the highly acclaimed dining options that will soon be available onboard Splendour of the Seas include the cruise line’s trademark steakhouse, Chops Grille; the Asian Izumi restaurant; the deli-style Park Café restaurant; the Boardwalk Dog House hotdog counter; and the exclusive Chef’s Table restaurant.
A new a la carte menu will also be introduced in the Viking Crown Lounge. The upgraded menu will allow guests to enjoy mini portions of their favourite classic dishes.
