New Gulf Cruise Options for Royal Caribbean

New Gulf Cruise Options for Royal Caribbean

16 November 2011

Royal Caribbean International is offering a host of new Caribbean cruise options this winter with three of the line’s top ships cruising to the Caribbean from a number of Gulf Coast ports.

A few days ago Mariner of the Seas was welcomed in Galveston, Texas, and on the 12th November it was the turn of Voyager of the Seas, which arrived at New Orleans. On the same day Jewel of the Seas docked at Tampa, Florida.

The arrival of these three cruise liners make it very convenient to embark on a cruise to the Caribbean and Mexico from a number of Gulf Coast destinations. Passengers will also have access to the cruise line’s exclusive range of amenities and world famous Gold Anchor Service, which enabled Royal Caribbean to win the award for Best Cruise Line Overall for eight years in a row.

The company’s senior VP of marketing, Betsy O’Rourke, said “Royal Caribbean is thrilled to be back in the Gulf Coast to offer exciting and convenient winter getaways at an incredible value.”

She added that they were particularly happy to have Martina McBride help them celebrate their return to LA with a major concert on board Voyager of the Seas.

Voyager of the Seas is the biggest and most advanced cruise ship in history to use the Crescent City as its home port. To celebrate this, Royal Caribbean has arranged a concert by one of the top stars in the world of country music, Martina McBride. This will take place on board Voyager of the Seas on the 19th November 2011.
