The East Coast cruising season has now drawn to a close and Princess Cruises reminds cruise lovers that this is the perfect time to make plans for a Canada and New England cruise for next year.
Whether it is charming Canadian ports, including the ever-lovely French city of Quebec that intrigues you, or you want to visit the historic cities favoured by America’s founders, Princess Cruises has an autumn cruise during 2012 that caters for your tastes.
Caribbean Princess and Emerald Princess will offer three different itineraries and 11 different cruises. The itineraries include a nine-night one-way journey between New York and Quebec City including an overnight stay in Quebec City; a seven-day round trip departing from New York and a 13-day Colonial America and Canada cruise sailing from Quebec to Fort Lauderdale, which covers the entire eastern coastline.
All three itineraries offer passengers a chance to experience highlights from the various areas, such as the natural beauty of Maine’s Acadia National Park, the historical treasures of Boston and the stunning mansions of Newport.
The Executive Vice President of Princess Cruises, Jan Swartz, said “The natural beauty of this coastline mixed with the area’s rich history makes Canada and New England one of our favourite cruise destinations. Where else can you find such brilliant fall foliage, colonial landmarks, rugged beauty and quaint towns all in one voyage?”
It is also possible for passengers to extend their journeys with two tours: one exploring Niagara Falls and a number of popular Canadian cities, the other visiting several of America’s colonial treasures.
