After nine days on the open sea crossing the Atlantic Ocean, Seabourn Quest has arrived on her inaugural visit in the United States. The ship docked at Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, Florida on the 21st November 2011.
The ship will remain in Port Everglades for two nights. During this sojourn local travel agents and their clients will be treated to special shows and dinners to introduce them to the delights of this enchanting ship.
The President of Seabourn, Richard Meadows, said that since the ship made her debut in Europe it has received numerous highly positive reviews from travel agents, guests and the press.
He added “We are very proud to show her off to agents and their clients in South Florida, so that they can see what the excitement has been all about in recent months.”
After the initial two nights the ship will embark on a series of 12 and 13-night round trip cruises to the Caribbean.
The big day that thousands of cruise lovers are looking forward to is the 5th January 2012. This is when Seabourn Quest will depart on her very first world cruise – a 109-day journey that will take her to South America, the Atlantic Ocean, South Africa, South East Asia – via the Indian Ocean, the Middle East and finally the Mediterranean. She ends her inaugural world cruise on the 23rd April next year in Venice.
Seabourn Quest has been described by cruise experts as “a game changer for the luxury segment.”
