Celebrity Cruises has announced a brand new marketing slogan – Modern Luxury – and also the company’s first ever flight ticket sale. This, they say, will make cruising even more affordable than before.

Modern Luxury features complimentary upgrades to balcony cabins when customers book any ocean view cabin on selected cruises next year. It also features the first ever flight promotion by Celebrity Cruises enabling passengers to buy European flights from as low as £49 per person.

Passengers who leave Southampton in September and October next year on board Celebrity Eclipse and Celebrity Constellation will get accommodation upgrades and free coach transfers or car parking.

The Modern Luxury theme was decided on in order to better differentiate Celebrity from its competitors and to showcase the cruise line’s contemporary attributes.

Celebrity Cruises’ Head of Sales, Michael English, explained “The Celebrity Cruises fleet is undergoing a huge revamp…. this investment delivers new restaurants, bars and accommodation that all complete what we term as a ‘Modern Luxury’ holiday experience.”

The following offers are available until the end of January 2012:

• A 13-day Mediterranean Venice cruise on board Celebrity Silhouette leaving from Barcelona in May 2012 from only £1,499 per person.

• An ex-UK wine cruise on board Celebrity Constellation leaving Southampton on the 7th of September from £1,099 per person.

• Upgrades to balcony cabins when you book an ocean view cabin on board Celebrity Eclipse for an 8-night Norwegian Fjords cruise leaving Southampton in May next year. Prices start at £1,199 per person.
