If you live in the Northern Hemisphere, you are used to a white Christmas. Anything else will simply not feel the same. Princess Cruises is well aware of this and for the fifth year running passengers will not miss out on a white Christmas as magical snow flurries transform the ship’s atriums into a winter wonderland.
The pioneering snow-making process creates snowflakes that disappear on contact, giving passengers the opportunity to experience all the excitement of snow without needing to dress accordingly. This year there will be daily snowfalls on every ship in the Princess Cruises fleet except the two smallest ships, Ocean Princess and Pacific Princes – both of which do not have sufficiently big atriums.
Snowfall on board the cruise line’s ships is only one of the ways in which Princess will surround guests with a happy atmosphere this Christmas season. The halls will also be decked out in holiday décor, which includes a Christmas tree on the ship’s mast. There will even be strolling carollers filling the air with the jolly sounds of Christmas to complete the care-free, happy Christmas ambience.
Activities on board the company’s ships will also reflect this Christmas spirit. Passengers will be able to take part in a gingerbread house-building competition, show their creativity making holiday cards and attend a Christmas variety show. There will also be a turkey-carving demonstration to make sure you impress your guests with your skills at next year’s Christmas lunch.
