MSC Cruises has partnered with Blend Craft Wines to offer their guests a range of one-of-a-kind wine-themed activities on board four sailings of MSC Poesia.

The CEO and President of MSC Cruises, Richard E Sasso, said “We are very excited to be able to bring the world of wines to our guests through these unique, fun and educational activities.”

He added that the virtual winery experience that Blend Craft Wines would create on board the ship would further improve the “already exceptional” experience MSC Cruises passengers enjoy.

Blend Craft Wines will bring passengers unparalleled onboard winemaking and other experiences with a wine theme, which include the following:

The Winemaker Experience: here a passenger will get an opportunity to create, bottle and label his or her own unique bottle of wine. Passengers who wish to do so could even create a whole case of customised wine to show off to friends and family at home.

The Winemaker Dinner: this combines the Winemaker Experience with a group dinner where guests can show off the wine they have created. Those who take part will also get the chance to produce an extra bottle of wine to take home.

The Wine Tasting College: here passengers will be educated in the world of wine during a unique series of 60-minute lectures.

World Series of Wine: this recreates a famous European wine competition of the 1970s that was featured in the picture “Bottle Shock.” The event includes a film viewing and wine tasting.

The winemakers conducting the programme will on average have more than ten years of experience in the industry.
