Carnival Cruise Lines has announced a number of exciting Panama Canal and South American itineraries for next year. These cruises were specifically designed to offer more memorable cruise options and fun in these popular cruise destinations.

On the 31st January we reported about the upcoming visit of Cunard Line’s Queen Elizabeth to San Francisco on the 4th February. The planned visit went without a hitch and the youngest ship in the Cunard fleet was welcomed by hundreds of fans during her maiden visit to the city on Saturday.

After nine days on the open sea crossing the Atlantic Ocean, Seabourn Quest has arrived on her inaugural visit in the United States. The ship docked at Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, Florida on the 21st November 2011.

Now cruise lovers can combine activities such as rock climbing with blockbuster movie-themed attractions all in a single holiday – with Royal Caribbean’s Universal Orlando package. Los Angeles was for the first time in history honoured by a visit of the 83,700 ton cruise liner Arcadia on Thursday 26th May 2011. The Los Angeles visit formed part of a 72-night round-trip cruise that started in Southampton immediately after the ship finished a world cruise and a two-week Mediterranean trip.
