This was an experience not to be missed. Having previously sailed with Holland America on the Zuiderdam I would never have believed anything could be better than that.  I was wrong! This cruise to the Norwegian Fjords and the Scottish Highlands was far and away even more outstanding, and for all the right reasons. Quite apart from the superb ship and attention to detail at every turn, the scenery was breathtaking, the crew were superb, the entertainment was amazingly professional and the food was just far too tempting, beautifully presented and always served with a warm smile. My personal highlight was a shore excursion to beat all - a trip to visit the Falkirk Wheel in Scotland and take the canal trip. I had always wanted to experience the wonder of it and my thanks to Holland America for providing us with a great courier, a comfortable coach from Ship to the Wheel and back and an absolutely wonderful day.  And - we were back in plenty of time for a hearty late lunch.  A truly remarkable cruise in every way.
