Comment:
The ship is   beautiful but when we reached our cabin we could not believe the toilet facilities.  Even after 36 years of marriage I do not wish to be able to see my husband sitting on the toilet.   On every cruise ship you know you will pay at least one of the restuarants not at nearly them all.   We found the Manhatten Dining Room (the only one we actually visited) very disappointing.   You pay for a lot of amenities on board which is totally alien to all other cruise ships.   The free style dining doesn't work as you have to then queue for tickets for all the shows and then you have to queue to get in as there is no early or late show.   Crossing the Atlantic the weather was poor but the entertainment did'nt allow for this and for 4 days we did nothing and it took you most of the day to find somewhere to actually sit if you wanted to read.  You had to sit in the restuarants during the day to relax because no-one was outside.  The swimming pool is also a joke  - 3 feet deep!!!!  I am sorry but there will be no more NCL Cruises for us - its back to Celebrity.  The rooms are quite small compated to other ships but cannot be faulted on there cleanliness and our cabin steward was also faultless.  I cannot see any improvement with this ship as NCL obviously think this is the ship of the future.  Maybe we're just too old for this type of cruising.   We came back on the Queen Mary 2 and there was just no comparison it was chalk and cheese.
