This was our first transatlantic cruise, picked up the ship [The Norwegian Gem] at Barcelona, the best cruise terminal in the Mediterranean. Then we did all the normal ports in the West Med, weather was pretty good for November,did all the tourist bits then from Malaga headed into the North Atlantic, WOW, the crossing to New York took 6 days, and in that time we had 3 storms with 30 foot plus waves, our balcony suite was on the 10th deck, but the spray made it unusable.My better half spent a lot of time horizontal, but at least she got up for dinner and the entertainment every evening. The entertainment day and evening was fantastic,as was the food.alround first class cruise and ship.
