Our third time sailing with NCL, the Gem was so disapponitng compared to the Dawn and Jade. Even the check in at Venice started badly, so dis-organised, not enought staff to assist, 7 cruises ships where leaving so you can imagine the volume of people. The standard of meals iffy, some even arrived cold and when we complained the waiter took the meal away re-heated it and brought it back!

Our anniversary meal was totally spolit due to bad service, we had booked a cruise rewards costing $250 for a future cruise with NCL, we have now cancelled this and are awaiting our refund. When I wrote to NCL via our travel agent, we received back the usual bla bla letter, so sorry etc. No compensation or incentive to try them again, very very disappointing.
