Having recently returned from a semi world 70 day cruise to China, Japan, Okinawa,9 Ports round Australia, Pataya. Maldives, Mauritius,Reunion 3 Ports round South Africa Madeira and back to UK I can only recommend most highly this P & O Cruise on Aurora and this based on 61 Cruises over 44years. What was most noticable was the way the average age on Board has increased.These are the more experienced cruisers and as our age group is now finding Fly Cruises both uncomfortable  and distressing I for one is turning to UK to UK Cruises only. One variation on this is to take one ship out say to Vancouver and then Overland rail back to Halifax and then cruise back to UK , or in reverse with transfers included. I have already done several Woirld Cruises where I have jumped ship in Singapore had a week on the Barrrier Reef at Cairns  then down to Sydney and pick up the same ship again. Among others I have jumped at Lyttleton , toured S Island for a week, flew to Honalulu and back on the same ship to resume cruise. Variations add spice to Cruising.
