This was our 2nd cruise, the first being with RCI (Vision of the Seas).  We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise around the Mediterranean onboard the Grand Princess. The ship was immaculately clean and the food was varied and plentiful! On our first cruise (aound the Caribbean) we had 2nd Dining (8pm) and felt a bit restricted..it meant we missed a lot of sunsets as we were always eating at that time!  So, on the Grand Princess we chose Anytime Dining but found we nearly always wanted to eat at 8.15pm ..then we ended up queueing for a while as everyone else seemed to want to eat at that time as well!  We actually pre-booked a set time (8.00pm!) for the last few nights as we didn't want to have to queue!  I think the moral of the story is...around the Caribbean Anytime dining would've been better but not needed round the Med!

A different facility on the Grand, that wasn't on the Vison, was the big outdoor screen where we wrapped in a blanket on sun loungers  and watched movies under the stars..whilst sipping a cocktail....very romantic!
