I went on a 9 day cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Explorer of the Seas from Dec 14th-23rd out of Cape Liberty in Bayonne. From arrival at the port the service could not be faulted, we were checked in and boarded within the 30 minutes of arrival at the port. The ship itself was amazing with plenty to do for the entire family. Being the sailing before Christmas all the decorations were up and it was looking very festive. The food onboard was extremely tasty, we prefered eating in the main dining room every evening as it does get very crowded in the windjammer cafe. The evening entertainment in the theatre was the best of any cruise i have been on. Wether you are 16 or 60 there is something for everyone. The Ice show is a must see, you are best off trying to arrange the tickets as soon as you get onboard as there is very limited space. It is also worth while watching the parade up the royal promenade. I would definatly recommend this to anyone if you have cruised before or if you are thinking of taking your first cruise
