Comment:

This was our 2nd cruise and another transatlantic from Malaga to Miami, our first night staying at the AC Milano in Malaga, superb hotel overlooking the port.

We chose RCI as on our first cruise on the Ventura we enjoyed but did not get the wow factor and we hoped we would get on this ship.

On the day of the cruise looking out of the Hotel window there she was in the distance looking very sleek and the excitment of another cruise started to affect us.

We was picked up at the hotel at 10ish, booked package through Ta and we was on the ship before 11 am. when we was by her boy did she look huge and couldn't wait to get on her.

We started at the Royal Promenade and wow wow wow, amazing, the 2 atriums were magnificent, pictures do not give the affect any justice, even after 2 weeks it still had the wow factor. The ship was beautifull and so clean, the Casino entrance was superb, again pictures don't tell the story, the main theatre really large but looking a little dated. The shows were enjoyable but not west end as they say.

The decks again wide and plenty of loungers the hot tubs were hot, the pools cold.

The widnjammer and Jade  self service restaurant was large but got very busy at lunch times but that was expected. They served just about every type of food, our daughter a vegetarian was really pleased,  The MDR was incredible and again even after 2 weeks it still had a wow factor, the food was good the service good, you could also have your breakfast and lunch in there if you wanted to.

The 2 speciality restaurents are very good, Chops has amazing steaks, best ive ever had and ive had a few, Portofino italian was also very good and had desserts to die for.

The main promenade was the hub of everything, fantastic coffee shop, coffee was really good, a british style pub, also smoking allowed inside, most nights sing alongs. shops, ben and jerrys etc.

The Atmosphere on the ship was really good, a very friendly ship, I am disabled but can uwalk a little and this ship was really easy to get around if you have a wheelchair.

One of the best things i liked was that you could go right to the front of the ship, where there were benches to sit on and just stare out to sea, also a very quiet area, oh and you can do you titanic bit as well. Yes the pool areas were noisey but there was also plenty of other areas you could go to get away from it all.

The staterooms, we had a balcony mid ship E2, for us spacious enough, the bathroom good size shower, but only soap and hair shampoo, you dont get any thing else, hair dryer ok.The room did look a little dated but kept very clean.

Daughter had a prom room and to be honest if we couldnt have a balcony would certainly book a prom room. Word of warning if your getting changed and the light is on make sure you close the curtains as you can see into thr rooms from the other side.

Overall would i go back on her, a resounding yes, it was big, easy to get around, clean and very friendly, yes its noisy in places and yes they do do the big sell on everything, but its easy to say no. Drinks are expensive but so what your on holiday. The food is good but not amazing, the shows again good.

But the main thing is we got the WOW factor and now we are hooked on cruising, even after 2 weeks for us we will never forget those 2 atriums looking up and down,Wow amazing.

Next stop IOTS. :-)
