Comment:
My Wife and I sailed on the Voyager of the Seas for a week last March. A week before we were due to sail we found out that the cruise (which holds over 3000 passengers) was going to be a 3rd full with kids as it was American spring break! As this was meant to be a romantic getaway to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary we were horrified at the thought of hundreds of screaming kids running amok on the ship. However, our fears turned out to be totally unfounded. The main reason for this was because on the 3 sea days we had, we were able to relax by the adults only pool which was very peaceful. All the kids were either by the main pool or off climbing walls or playing basketball. Bliss! We had an inside cabin which we found to be spacious and comfortable. The food was excellent, particularly in the Portifino restaurant which we ate at on 2 occasions. You have to pay a $20 cover charge per person, but it's definitely worth it! We did the Western Caribbean and highlights included the Jet Ski safari in Labadee and climbing Dunn's River Falls in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. We've booked to go on the Freedom of the Seas with Royal Caribbean this Christmas, can't wait!
