The already breathtaking landscape of New England and Canada is never more beautiful than when it’s transformed into its vibrant and much-anticipated annual palette of autumnal colours. As great swathes of foliage turn deep shades of orange, red, yellow and gold, Mother Nature puts on her most impressive show of the year before winter sets in, and it’s an absolutely magical time for sightseeing in this gorgeous area.

At Jetline Cruise, we’ve designed some amazing packages to allow you to experience this memorable display in the most wonderful of ways. And don’t worry, we won’t let you miss a thing…

The Fabulous Fall Colours

There are so many places to see the brilliant changing hues of the autumn foliage, and with lovely crisp temperatures and clear skies, this time of the year (typically peaking around late September to late October, depending on the location) is a truly impressive time to see this part of the world. While in Europe the changing of the season brings delicate autumnal shades of dusty browns and muted oranges, here it is a veritable unbridled explosion of vibrant reds, purples and their tonal variations, in an intense and truly dazzling display.

It’s definitely a ‘bucket list’ experience of a lifetime and, once seen, it’s something you’ll never forget. Cameras at the ready…

The Best Places to See the Colour

It’s Mother Nature’s show so, naturally, every year is different, but the colours reach their dramatic climax initially in Ontario, Quebec and the northern regions like Maine, before sweeping down to the southern states of Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

For our Jetline Cruise guests, beautiful Bar Harbor, in Maine, is a prime place to photograph the foliage (although to be honest nowhere is disappointing!) as the landscape of the Arcadia National Park turns on its full charm. There are also countless incredible viewing and picture opportunities to be had as you travel through the stunning area around Saint John, Halifax and Sydney in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Quebec.
