While this is an older vessel (it was built in 1999), Royal Caribbeans Voyager of the Seas underwent a $97-million refurbishment in 2019. During the month and a half that it spent in dry dock, the vessel got some of the cruise lines top family-friendly amenities, including the FlowRider surf simulator, The Perfect Storm duo of twin-racer waterslides, and Battle for the Planet laser tag. In addition, the spa and gym were updated, and new Inside and Balcony cabins were added.
Stateroom Accommodation
During Voyager of the Seas' 'Amplification' upgrade, the ship receive 72 new Interior and Balcony staterooms.Voyager of the Seas' standard staterooms have two beds that convert to queen-size, private bath, phone, interactive TV, mini-bar (stocked on request), hair dryers and air conditioning/heat controls. Bathrooms are compact and feature showers with half-round sliding doors instead of a shower curtain.
Dining Options
Voyager of the Seas' Main Dining Room spans three decks at the aft of the ship and offers a choice of breakfast, lunch (sea days only) and dinner. Passengers are allocated tables on a first-come, first-served basis during the day. In the evening, passengers can select traditional dining (where you sit at the same table, with the same wait staff every night) or make a reservation between 6.45 pm. and 9 pm. Passengers can also opt for My Time Dining on Voyager of the Seas, which means they can walk in and be seated whenever they are ready during dinner hours.

Port Elizabeth, South Africa
Known as the Windy City - Port Elizabeth is one of the largest cities in South Africa, and lies 770km east of Cape Town, where it forms part of the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro. Algoa Bay is the coastal strip of Nelson Mandela Bay incorporating a 40km stretch of beaches with fishing, surfing, scuba diving, snorkelling and sailing available at less-populated spots. Visit the Red Location Museum, the South African Air Force Museum and the Donkin Reserve. The Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum and Prince Alfred's Guard Memorial are both located in St George's Park – the oldest park in Port Elizabeth and home to the St George's cricket oval. Nelson Mandela Bay prides itself on offering the Big Seven of the animal kingdom. In addition to the Big Five – lion, rhino, buffalo, leopard and elephant – visitors to the nearby Addo Elephant National Park can see the great white shark and southern right whale in the bay waters off the park. Perhaps explore the lush forests of the Kragga Kamma Game Park, where white rhino, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, zebra and other animals roam freely.

Singapore is situated at the end of the Malaysian peninsula and is a tropical paradise often referred to as the “Island with a thousand shopping malls”. This tiny island nation packs in more malls per square mile than any other country in the world. Visit the 2.2km stretch of Orchard Road - the Oxford Street of Singapore, Chinatown, Little India and the vast Bugis Street Market. Enjoy a tour of Chinatown, have afternoon tea in the famous Raffles Hotel or take a cable car ride to Sentosa Island for some panoramic views. Gardens by the Bay is a nature park with futuristic looking tree sculptures covering 101 hectares of land, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. You will find two waterfront conservatories: the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest; and the Supertree Grove with 18 manmade trees which reach heights of up to 16 storeys. The Supertrees can be found all around the Gardens by the Bay - twelve are at the Supertree Grove, while the remaining six are placed in clusters of threes at the Golden and Silver Gardens. The best time to visit Gardens by the Bay is in the late afternoon, around 4-5pm. Start with the cooled conservatories, and then go up to the OCBC Skyway in the evening when the weather is cooler. At the Supertree Grove, there is a nightly show (free admission), that showcases the magical lights of the super trees to music. You can also visit the Sky Park observation deck 57 floors on top of the Marina Bay Sands hotel. This striking hotel has an infinity pool and gardens which spans the roof over the three towers of the hotel.
