Scheduled to launch in January 2024, the Icon of the Seas is the first of Royal Caribbean's Icon Class ship, which means it will have a new design, size, and look compared to other ships that came before her. Icon of the Seas has amazing new features on nearly every deck, giving guests more to explore in every corner of the 250,800-gross-ton cruise ship.
Stateroom Accommodation
All cabins come with at least two closets and three large drawers, as well as smaller desk drawers and cabinet space. A couple of smaller, camouflaged shelves are tucked behind the sides of the desk mirrors. Rooms have at least two chairs: one desk style. The usual cabins types normally associated with Royal are available as well as the new Ultimate Family Townhouse.
Dining Options
From the normal main dining room and buffet offerings, new concepts such as Pearl, replacing Cafe Promenade. Basecamp is going to be situated on Deck 16 and it’ll serve essentially as a ‘base camp’ for a lot of the outdoor activities in that part of the ship, including the waterslide exits, the rock-climbing wall and so on. The Desserted Milkshake Bar is a debuting venue on Icon of the Seas
With Royal Caribbean's approach to family holidays most of the daytime features around this, such as Category 6, part of the ship’s “Thrill Island†neighborhood, is the largest waterpark at sea, offering splash-tastic fun for all ages on Deck 16. The park includes six waterslides, each with record-breaking firsts: the 66-degree inclined Pressure Drop as the cruise industry’s first open free-fall slide; the 46-foot-tall Frightening Bolt, the tallest drop slide at sea; Storm Surge and Hurricane Hunter, the first 4-person family raft slides at sea; and the Storm Chasers pair of slides, cruising’s first mat racers.

Basseterre, St.Kitts
St Kitts is a member of the British Commonwealth and lies at the top of the Lesser Antilles chain close to Antigua. Cruise ships moor at the cruise pier called port Zante in the capital Basseterre right in front of the shops. Visit Brimstone Hill National Park known as the Gibraltar of the West Indies and the sister island of Nevis just a 45 minute ferry ride way. Get a good feel for the island on the scenic railway – originally built to transport sugar cane or chill out at one of the best beaches on the island Cockleshell Beach. This 2 mile stretch of white sand beach is relatively un-spoilt and overlooks the island of Nevis. Try an invigorating natural Aloe Vera massage on the beach – it does wonders for your sunburn !!!
Charlotte Amalie, St.Thomas
St Thomas is part of the US Virgin Islands and THE duty free shopper’s paradise in the Caribbean. Charlotte Amalie is the capital – and this quaint town is a joy to walk around with its cobbled streets and alley ways filled with the best shops in the Caribbean – but not so much “in your face†as the other islands. Unlike most of the other islands this is the US of A in the Caribbean – it is clean, organised and well run; you may think that you are in one of the Florida Keys. The best beach is Magens Bay (voted one of the top 10 beaches of the world) and is approximately 6 miles away from the capital on the other side of the island.
