Fred Olsen, Boudicca
Accommodating just 880 passengers, Boudicca is one of the smallest cruise ships around but with fewer passengers it is ideal for guests looking for spacious surroundings and a personalised service. It offers a range of comfortable cabins all with Smart TV, a hairdryer, safe and tea and coffee making facilities. Boudicca sails from ports around the UK and is perfect for the intrepid explorer, including itineraries ranging from mini European cruises to longer Mediterranean trips and a 77-night South American cruise.
Boudicca offers several restaurants for formal dining. In the main restaurant, the Four Seasons you can enjoy a five-course à la carte meal on an intimate table for two or on a larger table. The same menu is served in the Tintagel restaurant and the Heligan Room, while the Secret Garden Café, decorated in Japanese style, offers a less formal buffet-style dining. Book a table at The Grill for an extra special al fresco dining experience.
If you need to burn off calories from the night before, start your day with a work out at the Fitness Centre or a few lengths in one of the three heated swimming pools. Or if you prefer relax in one of the hot bubbling Jacuzzis or the sauna. In the Atlantis Spa you can enjoy extra pampering with massages and range of body treatments.
Boudicca has several bars and lounges where you can relax and catch up with friends. The Morning Light Pub, open throughout the day, resembles a British pub and is an ideal place to enjoy a pint or a glass of wine. The Observatory Lounge with its large, panoramic windows, is a scenic place to relax or treat yourself to a traditional afternoon tea. After dinner head to the Neptune Lounge for the evening entertainment of music and comedy or dance the night away in the Lido Lounge to the resident band.
