South American Princess- Andes & Cape Horn

Overview

The 116,000 tonne Sapphire Princess entered service in 2004 - the same year as her sister ship the Diamond Princess and are the only ships of the fleet that were built in Japan. As can be expected from Princess - these ships have an impressive line up of facilities which flow freely from one area to another giving a feeling of space and never ending options. There are 4 separate swimming pool areas, Movies and the Stars and the adults only Sanctuary# for guaranteed sunbathing space. The Lotus Spa is particularly impressive with a wide range of facilities including separate His & Her Steam room and sauna.

All Sapphire Princess staterooms have private en-suite facilities, air conditioning, colour cable TVs with Free in room movies, vanity area, hair dryer, telephone, safe, refrigerator with mini bar and free room service. FREE guest self-service launderettes.

There are five main dining rooms – four of which feature the flexible anytime dining option. In addition, the Horizon Court offers self-service buffet dining virtually 24-hours per day and there are two speciality restaurants: Sabatini’s# (Italian) and The Sterling Steakhouse#. There is also a poolside pizzeria and a hamburger grill.

On board you will find four-separate freshwater swimming pool areas, six-whirlpools and a separate kids splash pool. Plus, a nine-hole mini golf course, library, Lotus Spa & Fitness centre, internet cafe and a range of kid’s clubs. In the evening choose from a wide variety of bars, lounges, the Princess Theatre, The Grand Casino and Sky Walkers Nightclub.
